The other day, was driving on the motorway when a 'Failure Indicator' came up with the oil symbol. Oil pressure dropped to zero so pulled over, engine off then back again and all fine. No error came on. Same thing happened yesterday.

Last time i had a fault, the fault indicator remained on when i started the engine again - this time round it seems to dissapear when i restart.

Anyone had this before?

Yes. it means there is a fault with the oil pressure gauge sensor which will need replacing

Got exactly the same problem myself - 996 c2 - became evident right after engine rebuild.
Going back to OPC for fix asap.
There is no suggestion of oil starvation to the engine so is assumed to be instrument related. Glad its not just me!

had same problem. was the oil pressure sender. took it to OPC East London who fixed it whilst i waited. under warranty. sorted the handbrake too as it was a little too tight. no charge. good guys and adding to the great service feel from them.
