Hope someone can help

I have a vibration (lucky me) that gets worse with speed. It is imperceptible until doing 90 + leptons and gets worse as i go up to 120 etc. The frequency increases with speed and is not gear dependant. All wheels have been balanced, and propshaft uj's greased etc.

What are the liklely causes? I am off to some european circuits for tracvkdays, so could do with getting it sorted.

Thanks

Nick

The mondeo did this and the problem was play in the balljoints and/or front wishbone bushes (new wishbones with all bushes and balljoint both sides sorted it). It started over 70 and didn't go away at any faster speed like an imbalanced wheel might. Have a close look at the inside of both front tyres for wear.

All tyres are wearing evenly, and the car has just had the suspension geometry set up and the car corner weighted, but bushes weren't changed. Interesting, i will have a look at them.

Some tyre places don't balance the wheels up properly though, yes they put weights on, but not necessarily the right weights in the right places.
