There was a discussion about it over here on the Octane.ie forum last year but I can't remember if anyone off there actually bought one or not.

The reaction was mixed ..... as it usually is with these things.

there was a discussion on the griff forum about these and other ramps..

I have to say my vote would still be on these
www.restorationramps.co.uk/
just cos they 'look' more stable and sturdy, but they would be impossible to store in the corner of the garage when not in use..

I've had a set of the Restoration Ramps for a few months now and am very pleased with them. I bought them in preference to having a pit. They take the car up about 2 feet (which looks higher than those alloy ones) and are very sturdy, also I can get the car on single handed.

Admittedly they are very heavy and would be difficult to store, but I leave them set up with a car on them on one side of my garage. You can become pretty quick at getting the car on and off them.

Also, the alloy ramps website only shows fairly small cars on them, Elises, MGs etc.
