Following on from the fish'n'chip run, Cat and i have been discussing doing a "clotted cream" run.

Some amazing roads on the way down to Cornwall, some nice places to stay the night and party, and some fun possibilities for the route home too!

Currently thinking weekend of July 14th/15th as this is a week before schools break up so hopefully the traffic won't have gone mad yet!

if you're going to do something, do it right I say.

Would definitly be up for this. If the last drive was anything to go by I can't miss out on this. At this rate by the end of the year I would have seen most of the interesting places across the UK, lol.

Hmmm, I'm supposed to be doing a charity day in Blandford on the 14th, which is "on the way" to Cornwall hehe

I'll keep an eye on this and see what you all decide, I'm still grinning from yesterday's hoon.

Me & the missus are leaving Burton bradstock that day, might be worth stopping by - what's on David?

Sounds great, although me a my better half will have to be in a boring Laguna Diesal, we will bring the cameras along, although I expect the only shots will be disappearing tailpipes!!!!

Know an excellent Greek restaurant in Plymouth for the Saturday night

Hi Neil,
link is here : www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=114&t=381480&i=40

I think it is a series of "race for life" relays, and they have asked for a few cars to come along and be on show. I don't think its big petrol-head type of event, and to be honest i'm not entirely sure what is expected of us during teh day, but its for a cause close to home.

I just checked the thread and noticed D17EEE is also going -
shout James we need to plan a blazing route down there

Ah - yes that weekend is good. Yep I did put my name down for that Blandford event... although I put it down as a maybe. There are a few names there already so I don't think it would cause much of a stir to back out, however, if it fits in with the weekend e2djh then I would like to go down with yourself (imagine the blat down) and then meet up with the rest on Saturday night.

Whatever happens, I am in...

Just read the charity thread - they have more than enough volunteers so I have decided to remove myself from the list in favour of this. ed2djh - let me know what your plans are, could still combine routes maybe, or hopefully see you Sat eve / Sunday for the drive back?
