Sounds good. Id suggest the Mopar Nationals, 27-29th July. They have a run wot you brung, but without the usual fwd stuff. Just muscle cars, old and new. Good day out imo.

I'll be there!

isn't that the event we went along to last year before Donnington BTCC? Sure that was the MOPAR nationals and to be honest - it would be embarassing to run against that lot - the crowd don't applaud anything over 10secs down the strip!!! Wouldn't it be better to find something a bit less public to let the amateurs amongst us (including myself in that) make a fool of ourselves trying to set respectable times?

the best central place for it would be shakespears as you get much more run time than at the pod plus its more central (geographically speaking)

Mind Reader, was going to Suggest Garys Picnic but that may be too soon. Have emailed them for future RWYB dates.
A good cheap way to break your car..

It is indeed the same event! Don't think any RWYB event is "less public". Most are way to busy and full of FWD type stuff, which im not really into.

Just got this.

Hi Jez

Thanks for the e-mail enquiry regarding RWYB Public Track Days at
Shakespeare County Raceway. Our next scheduled events are:

16th/17th June – Shakespeed ’07 incorporating Race Wars
14th/15th July – British Mini Showdown
29th/30th September – Public Track Day
13th/14th October – Public Track Day
27th/28th October – Halloween Bonfire Burn-Up

I trust that one of the above dates will be acceptable. If you require further information please don’t hesitate to call.

Kind regards

Jeremy Cookson
Shakespeare County Raceway
Marketing, Promotions & Track Management

I`m easy on dates. But would rather bully a mini than some ripsnortin monster!!!!
