I used to use it but stopped a couple of years ago. I have no idea whether it ever made any difference!

I'm pretty confident in the super fuels (optimax and ultimate) with their built in cleaners. I've used them for a while and when I had the injectors out recently they were spotless yes

I used to keep a bottle of redex in the car incase I ever had to fill up where there wasn't any super but I don't bother anymore !

the crap you would clear from the injector would have to go somewhere else tho if you want them cleaned do it professionally.

It was just an idea to see if it helped my idle/hesitation problem. I think I'll not bother.

Presumably the residue would be carried out with the fuel into the cylinder and burned?

just thought logically why would it be good to have 20-30k miless worth of crud washed into the chamber? Not sure how expensive it is to have them cleaned.

It's not going to do any harm at all, the dirt is microscopic, it's just going to get burned and chucked out the exhaust at 1000C along with the rest of the cr@p.
