Noise coming from DVD area of PCM

Hi guys,



Got into my Cayenne this morning, noticed a terrible ticking noise coming from the DVD/CD area of the PCM. I can hear the DVD nav disc spinning around ok, but also get this noise.



I ejected the disc and put it back in, still makes a noise. The Nav still works ok, getting a little irritated with the noise. Seems to only occur when I open the door, as some of the electrics start up and when I take the key out of the ignition



Anyone had experience of this? It is driving me mad

Battery low? Have the windows started dancing yet?

Battery is fine. As soon as I start up and start travelling it stops.....

Had exactly these symptoms on my unit (PCM2). OPC changed it under goodwill (only had car 3 weeks)after pointing out it was NOT covered by warranty Good Luck.

Thanks chillerman, spoke with OPC, said they would replace under goodwill, only had the car 4 days!!!!
