Coolant Caps

Hi together,

just another question. There are two coolant caps, one for the swan-neck, one for the plastic-overflow-can. One Cap is with a spring (it opens under pressure), the other one is only a flat cap. Which cap is for where?

In my car the pressure cap is on the overflow-can, the simple flat cap on the swan-neck. Is it correct?

Thanks for the recommendation to the other Topic. Exactly the same like my problem. I will try to fill up coolant with engine on and expansion tank cap off (Did it till today with cold engine). By the way - my wedge dosn´t have a catch tank for the coolant overflow. It just comes from the pressure-container to the street survace.
