Took the griff out for a spin today, started up fine around 40 on oil gauge, when you give it some stick around 4k revs the pressure drops to 0, so i pulled over and presure back to 40, when parked and reved up the presure doesn't drop.

Any Ideas!!!

Cheers Rob

Loose sender connector ...

Don't be fooled that its still attached ! I've had the same issue and as it was as the engine twists it exerts more stretch on the wire, hence it drops. When at idle it returns ..

Check the wire has enough movement in it to cope with twist and that the spade to wire connection isn't wearing through as well ..

Hia mate--

Mine exactly same- fired up fine, go for a mile maybe then the higher the revs, the lower the pressure. It was like a tacho in reverse! replaced sender and it was cured.

Johno's point pretty valid, mind
