Hi

I'm just about to trade up from my 996 C4S, to an 04 Manual in Neru Osyris with 12500miles, just at High Wycombe for a service.. I'm buying from Wolsten Cars has anyone dealt with mark before? Also is there anything that I should know before my purchase?

yes, you'll pull away from a junction and wonder what the clonking / grinding / juddering is from the front end, realise it's the 4wd system struggling to cope a slow speeds & full lock, marvel at the fact audi and porsche can make cars that don't do it, enquire as to why, find out "they all do that sir"

Then you'll tickle the throttle, fly down the road at warp speed with associated noise like thunder, laugh so hard you nearly crash and then wonder how you lived with such a sanitised car as a C4s.

Enjoy.

Why, oh why, don't they do a 2wd Gallardo? Be a bit lighter and a bit more fun than it already is I expect.

If you have driven a gallardo you'll soon see ;-) The grip is just rediculous and the thing pulls like a freight train! Quite intoxicating. I love the gallardo drive as its very like my RS4, I have had a drive in a 360 and wasnt too impressed by the 'on the limit' feedback. Dont get me wrong the gallardo can bite, but for me it just feels a better car to drive on the limit imho. I think the 4wd is one of the selling points of the car, I for one was swayed because of it.

Wolsten sell cars on behalf of other people, they do not either own or stock them as far as i know. The guy didn't know anything about a car he was advertising that i was interested in. But proceeded to tell me how brilliant it was and what good condition it was in before finally admitting he had never even seen the car.

Have a look on ebay/auto trader it might be cheaper on one they seem to advertise the same car under different companies.
