Having trouble with the Cerb alarm going off every time we open the doors, start her up etc., have tried disconnecting the battery, but when re-connected all the doors locked and then alarm went off again.
Have done a search and seen all the various problems people have had .... can anyone tell me anything that perhaps might have been kept offline ...... please
Even if its only a temporary measure so we can get the car back in the garage without waking up all the kids on the street

I had problems with my alarm recently. It kept going off all the time after I set it. Weird really - it just sort of chirped a lot and it came to the point where I couldnt lock the car anymore.
The forum suggested that it was the siren at fault so I disconnected it! When I did I was expecting it go on making noise until the internal battery went flat - but it didnt make a sound. So I must have been right.
As yet I havnt got round to fitting a new siren but at least I can lock up the car!
Hope it helps

Carl Baker replaced my siren for £99 all in.
It looks like it's a bad time for your alarm to die, Mrs. BChttp://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t...
