Bugger, car's not back till Thursday at the earliest... gearbox is still with the guy thats fixing it frown been a while without any form of transport now and its really getting on my nerves! Having to walk everywhere sucks... especially when the suns out and I know I have a TVR sitting in TVR Power's car park!

I`ll get on the case - how long time wise do you want? And I guess you will want a loop route to end back at the start point?

I took the Cerb to visit that pub on Sunday.

Followed by the Queens Hotel in Bellbroughton.

What about 1-11/2 hour trip either loop or to another pub of similar distance away from the M5 What do folks think?

Just seen this topic - unfortunately don't think I can make it - Horizon have the car for service today & it's the biggy, so don't expect to be home until later on - will have a look at the thread when I get home if I'm early enough assuming I get it back today !! might just meet you at the pub later if I'm too late for a run out.

Pete.

Couple of suggestions?

Not brilliant roads but pretty good and mainly Lesser A & good B

Bowling Green Hadley about 30 mins from Hagley 5 miles from M5 J6/5

Bell at Pensax about 40 mins from Hagley 10 miles from M5 J6/5

Hello,

Just seen this. I would also recommend the Bowling Green at Hadley. Nice beer and a decent car park. Just watch out, there can be speed camera's along the 449.

I'm afraid the football rules over this one, if however the first half is rubbish, might venture out! Or shall I come out and come back for the second half?!

Have a good night if I don't see you.

Hadley seems ok. Could take the A442.
