Removing front panel of 944 S2 Cabriolet.

Hi,

I gather from the manual that in order to remove the front panel (nose), I undo the two nuts at each headlight and the row of Phillips screws at the panel's engine end. Then I slide the panel gently forward and hey presto!

Well, maybe I'm not sliding hard enough, but I'm having no luck. The manual says to "unscrew mounting nuts and remove bolts" when doing the nuts/bolts at the headlights. Maybe I'm missing something here? I can remove the nuts, but remove bolts....no, not yet! I guess I've missed something, but can't think whgat it might be.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I've done it! the two 10mm bolts were - seemingly - invisible. Anyhow, it's off, filter changed and panel back in situ.
