The word from the factory doug is:



There will be a Lightwieght version of all models and that they will not be limited editions like the SE, they will be proper production orderable models added to the lineup.



I think as long as the car could handle well it could do with shedding a few pounds in all honesty as tracking the car is hard work sometimes.

Murcielago isn't a track car...so im not with you or Lamborghini, a lighter weight Murci, utterly pointless.



640 with 2WD would also be a complete waste of time, it doesn't have the poise or grace to carry it off & nor would 99% of its drivers. Driving a 640 is an awesome experience but a drivers car..i'm not so sure!
