TVR Friendly MOT testers in the Midlands/South West

Well, the time has come for the Chim to have its MOT!

Can anyone recommend a TVR friendly MOT tester in the Worcestershire kneck of the woods (more specifically Evesham)? I know there's David Gerald's in Inkberrow who I think do a pre MOT inspection/quote...anyone use DG's for MOTing, if so your experiences would be appreciated? PM me if you don't wish to share your experiences on a public forum.

There's Neil Garner in Kemble but it's a bit of a trek and creates a problem if I have to leave it with him!

Can worn discs fail an MOT? It's the only thing that Leven's picked up when they inspected/serviced the car in January....and what's the deal with the backlit number plate? Can it fail an MOT or is it an advisory?

Hi Ron - the garage opposite me (Pershore) is good and Mike does service and MOT a number of local TVRs (including mine) - just let me know if you want a number.
