Nottingham Big Night Out

So... How about a night out in Nottingham?



Out of all our meals, I think that the curries and the Red Hot Buffet Shack were the most popular.



If anybody needs me to recommend a hotel, I'll post a link to one that I can recommend as offering excellent quality and value, with safe parking.



I'm fully booked up now until August so how about a heads up for who is up for this and what Saturdays are best?



I can - currently - make any Saturday in August.



I know we always go out in Nottingham, so if the general concensus is we try another town, I'll be happy to go along with the majority.

Did my degree in Nottingham and now I'm back in the Midlands I would love to go back. Any time late July/August is OK by me.

We tend to do this on a Saturday. Not sure how it would work as a mid-week option as some people come from outside of Nottingham and stop over.

With regards to time, we usually meet in a pub around 7pm then sit for dinner at around 8pm. After dinner we usually go on to a bar for a few more drinks then people either go home or onto a club (traditionally the Cookie Club on St James Street).

It's a tried and tested formula that has worked so far, but if the majority fancy a change, then we could try something different. However, that usually leads to ten pages of umming and ahing until we're back to square one.

It's about time I came along. I haven't been out in years Never could go out in all of the smoke filled bars as my eyes react very badly too it (not to mention my lungs).

With the ban on indoor smoking I can't really make any more excuses, especially as I am only a tram ride away from the city.

I suggest Saturday 11th August.

If that is a no-no for anyone, let me know soon so that we can sort out another one for August and Vicky can arrange her rota.
