Silent Indicators (almost)

I'm new to soft top motoring and having just bought a 986 Boxter I find that, with the top down, I am continually leaving the indicators on when the don't cancel automatically. The tick from them is inaudible and the light on the dash is not noticeable in bright sunlight. Does anyone have a fix for this?
