Right, I've got jacking the front up sussed and made some wood ramps so I can get my trolley jack under the bodywork. Has anyone any tips on wheres the best place to position my jack to lift the rear? - there does not seem to be a nice flat cross member unlike the front.

I normally use the wishbones.

Use the large channel section of chassis below the diff.. It has the added benefit of jacking both sides at the same time.

Yep, the U channel with a trolley jack is the best approach. I use a 2 inch block of hardwood to avoid marking it and this gives enough height for both wheels to leave the ground.

Oh yes. The hardwood is a good tip.
