Don't know the car, but 'service 10K ago' tells me very little. Most Cerbs (or any TVR for that matter) 10K is 2-3 years of driving, servicing tends to therefore get done by time interval i.e. at least every year regardless of mileage. The only exception to that would be is if is SORNed, even then I'd expect something to be done.

Well maintained, but the last service was 10K ago?

Service interval is 6k, so how is that well maintained?

I agree there, also based on mileage it has averaged 5000 a year so most likely it hasn't been serviced for 2 years or more.

Anyone who says it is well maintained when it has done almost double the mileage over the standard service interval is a nob rolleyes

when I was looking for a cerb (5-6 months ago) I emailed this guy several times and got hardly any info in his responses so looked elsewhere. 10k miles is waaaaay too long between services! I heard somewhile back that this may be a CAT-D cat as well (not confirmed and sorry if I have got this wrong and have confused cars)

there are plenty of good 4.5s out there (mine included - though I am having 2nd thoughts on selling now ;-))...but you should have plently of choice in the market at present...

Hi Kostas,

Good to see you tonight - aren't you glad you don't have a self combusting Tamora!

You must see Oli's car, it's great and he's not a bad chap either!

Kostas,

Howard (who arrived in the black RS6 last night) is selling his Cerb at the moment, might worth a look too http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/classifieds/175466.ht...

I agree, there was a picture of it in another thread a few months back on a low loader (just heading in for a service IIRC) and it even looked fantastic on there. thumbup

and for those wondering, here is Oli's car.

There really are a fair few really nice Cerbs on the market atm, at silly prices for such a car. frown

yeah - I have had calls for the car saying they'll give me 13k for it...but out of principal I do not want to drop the price...

firstly for the market...if it continues dropping at this rate they'll be worth nothing
secondly - it is my prized possession and if someone does not deem it to be worth what is a very good price...I am insulted ;-)

Howards car does look good, although I didn't see it in the flesh when I was looking. I did see Oli's (thanks again) and at £5k less would better suit Kostas budget (from my understanding) + I'll get 10% of the sale of Oli's car (right? beer)

Kostas, on a serious note, Oli's is def worth a visit and I'll happily drive you over to his when you agree a time/date with him.

PM me and I'll email you my mobile etc., or ask Oli for it, if he still has it.

Just get one, you know you love em'

2Dogs - I think his budget is at £15k (I could be wrong) - nice car none-the-less; it makes no odds to me now on prices (on the basis that I'll NEVER sell) but £15k is good, Kostas should buy, the sun will come out (again) and he'll have made £2k - not that he'll want to sell.

I've met him and he smells - of petrol!!! clap
