I want to import my car back home to S.A.

I am looking to import a car i have bought here in U.K. and take it back to SOUTH AFRICA when I return in a few months time.
I have been in U.K. for almost 2 years, and I have a Toyota MR2 that I want to take back with me.

can some one tell me step by step what I have to do.

About five years ago I emmigrated to SA, I was desparate to take my beloved XJS with me. Looked into exporting it and after around a month of considering it gave up any hope. Risk of condition of car on arrival, cost of import duties, just the general hassle didn't add up so I sold it before I left.

I'm sure if you try hard enough it is possible, just wasn't the right thing to do for me. Back home after a year due to woman issues so it was probably best the Jag stayed here. Couldn't have faced leaving it in SA.
