by the way andy how much did the door conversion cost???
I was told around £10k by the dealer, though I have no means to clarify this. What I can confirm is the conversion is by LSD. http://www.lsd-doors.com/index_e.phpCheers,

I don't think spraying hte plastic is the right course of action, the plastic is the wrong sort to spray and hte paint won't adhere properly to it unless you sand off the shiny finish - if you don't it will probably just peel and crack, if you spray it silver its going to look quite tatty like those ronnied novas you see with DIY bodyparts from halfords.
If you want a really good finish, a friend in the US with a murci had his grills replaced with metal wire mesh ones a la bentley and aston. the quality is superb and give you that "bling" look i think you are aiming for. you lose the trademark eggbox vent shape but you get a proper diamond mesh, i think there is a company that makes a kit in the US, look over on lambopower or whatever it is and trawl through some topics and you should find it some leads on it, that said you may find one of the suppliers who do the aston grill set might knock up a few sets for the G if there was enough interest.
