I bought an S3 from Adrian last feb before he had the showroom and while I wouldn't say his approach to car preparation was fastidious at the time (no valeter then I suspect) he was extremely helpful before and after I had bought the car. I would have no hesitation is recommending him to anyone wanting to buy a tvr.

I have to agree with that.

My car had a wooden block taped to the accelerator pedal and a few other funny bits and bobs that shouldn't have been as they were. The preparation was not as I would have expected and maybe less time is spent on the cars at the lower end of the price scale. Mine was a S1.5 18 months ago.

I have in the past and would in the future reccomend ABSC to people though as he is reasonably priced and pleasant to deal with. I also know a number of people who have bought from him.

Cheers

Yep, I bought one from him too - a 96 Chimaera.

Overall the car has been ok, but I have had to replace the starter motor and radiator...oh and I bought a two year warranty from Furnhurst as well which paid for the rad.

Would I suggest to others that he visit Mr Blyth? Yes. However, I would suggest getting the car checked out by an expert third party before handing over the cash!

Yep I agree with all comments made here too. I bought a Griff 500 about 18 months ago - good, straight honest car and once it had been given a bloody good clean was just like it had come out of the box.

He seems like a very genuine guy and I would recommend anyone to go for a tyre kick at least!

I'm very pleased with the 97 Chim I bought a year ago. The radiator went & was fixed under 3 month guarantee. That seems to be more to do with TVR than AB.

It seems to me to be a 'what you see is what you get' experience, so he has my vote.

That sums it up for me completely. I got what I saw and what I paid for. I have no complaints.

I bought a 99 Chimaera from ABSC and found the team, particularly Adrian very helpful. Preparation of the car was excellent.

I also needed a new radiator soon after, but I would put that down to a duff batch of rads at TVR.

I have to say that I bought an S2 from adrian in feb last year. I went to quite a few main dealers and being a long haired scruff no-one wanted to talk to me turned up at adrians and within 24hrs had bought a car!
Excellent service honest and down to earth, would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone else.

I bought a 99 Chim 4 just 1 month ago. Favoured his approach and prices to my local dealer. So far so good...
