Tuning Maserati 3200
Discussion
Seen these for 15 to 17k. But I wanted to know about tuning to make big bhp. I know the car is twin turbo and I was thinking someone out there can or has done it. FMIC, bigger turbos, boost controller, big exhaust, live mapping. You get the idea. Anyone know of any contacts or websites I can visit. Thanks in advance for any info.

West Tuning and DMS I seem to remember both would consider 'heavy duty' power upgrades.
You're looking at high cost, new turbos and intercoolers. Block is very strong so will apparrenty take a fair amount of boost. 500bhp+ certainly attainable.
Thing is - you're probably going to end up with some pretty monumental tubo lag and the traction control is going to flip....

Very true. The traction control seems overly keen even with standard power so more would really upset it. With the horror stories about people hitting walls when using sport/no traction modes I'd worry about whether the chassis was capable of using that power. For me, the light and quick steering on the 3200 would make it somewhat difficult to keep in a straight line.
