oil choice 350i

which oil should i be putting in my 1985 350i, it has done 25000 miles? i am unsure which grade / viscosity to use.

I'm using magnatec 10/40 at the mo & changing every 2k miles

(I get it a bit cheaper off my mate)

When I had a wedge (and will have again one day I hope) I used Magnatec at first, then moved onto Halfords semi-synthetic.

I use Valvoline Racing 20W-50 and change it every couple of thousand miles:

Motul 300V Comp. 15W 50 works for me. That and Silkolene Pro are the 2 top oils in the opinion of Opie Oilman
