Hi,

Anyone know of any good Porsche detailers in the South East. Have seen Premier Bodyshops in Luton, who use Zymol products, not sure how good there work is. Anyone have experience of these guys..??

Really need someone to concentrate on getting the bodywork swirl free, with a mirror finish. Would do it myself, however wife keeps complaining I spend more time with the car than her!!

Any suggestions?

Paul Dalton at Miracle Detail - recommended without hesitation.

Google Miracle Detail and you'll find him.

Kind regards

Steve

What some people will happily pay for getting their car cleaned is frickin amazing.

What some people will charge is even moreso.

Bring it round mine, I've been out with the PC and Menzerna Twins this afternoon cool. Poorboys EX-P and Collinite going on top, when I get the strength to carry on biggrin

Another shout for Gurch at Elite (see link below) - he took a scratch out of my car which would of cost a fortune to remove so turned out quite good value

I think Gurch's prices are a little more realistic that Paul Dalton's too.

...and, as a bonus, Gurch I think also uses Zaino products so you can choose between Zymol and Zaino.

Nathan Willits at Cambridge Autogleam. www.cambridgeautogleam.com

Fantastic results at a far more palatable price than some high end detailers.

Having used Miracle Detail for my last car I am probably one of the few people able to draw a direct comparison between Miracle and Elite based on personal experience. Paul Dalton of Miracle Detail did a very good job on my previous car spending a full 10 hour day on it, but I was totally blown away by the service Gurcharn of Elite Detailing on my new car. For a start Gurcharn spent a total of 25 hours on the car over a 2 day period and really is the ultimate perfectionist. The car is a Bentley and was only 6 months and to most people needed nothing more than a quality waxing but after Gurcharn’s service the difference was amazing – look at the pictures on his website and see for yourself! Some two months later the finish has not diminished in any way, though I’m sure that may be in part thanks to Gurcharn’s advice for ongoing cleaning.

In terms of value for money Elite Detailing are streets ahead of Miracle Detail; Gurcharn is very polite and conscientious and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him and his service. Miracle detail may well market themselves as the original paintwork correction and treatment company but for me the ultimate level of service, finish and professionalism comes from Elite Detailing.

Just seeing Nathans web site gives you an idea how passionate and dedicated he is about his work. Guys on Stuttgart Nines and Titanic/GT3 have used him and the results are better than the photos can show. Got him booked in to do my 997 GT3 RS and the other half is havoing her Boxster S done at the same time.

Travels down as far as Kent. He's just finished a friends Mk2 GT3(Hemel Hempstead) and another friends 996 GT2 (Nr, Bishops Stortford). Pricing structure is fair and pretty straightforward and no I'm not on commission just happy to recommend him.

I've booked Paul at Miracle Detail for my 993 next month. Lots of good feedback about his work from a wide variety of people.

Thanks guys,

Going to use Jason from Connoisseur Car Valet. He is an approved Zymol detailer. A real top bloke, came out to me on Bank Holiday Monday morning in the P£ssing rain to look at the car and talk me through what he would do.

Very enthusiastic, gave me lots of tips for good maintenance, showed me all his products. He also uses the Zymol Royale wax!!! Will post pictures after he completes a week Wednesday. Lets hope the weather improves..
