Lambo joins Avon Tyres British GT Championship

Gallardo GT3 to debut at Snetterton

Lamborghini will at last be represented in the 2007 Avon Tyres British GT Championship, and from looking at these pictures, it’s quite some presence.

This is the Team Modena-run Gallardo GT3 that will make its debut at the next round of the championship at Snetterton, Norfolk on 2nd and 3rd of June.

The GT3 spec car cranks out 530bhp, will do 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 196mph.

We're looking forward to hearing the Lambo V10 around British circuits this summer…

Well at least it is not going to be hard to stop. I never thought you could make one of theses cars look bad.

Lots of stunning GT3 supercars these days - check out this race-winning Ford GT from Bucharest (here's the link - can't post the pic). Nursing a semi, anyone?

Indeed. Nice, but quiet. Does anyone know why this is? Especially as the '06 model (and Superleggera especially) are so loud...

Well if what they're doing in Australian GT Championship is anything to go by, watch out. These are serious GT Weapons, and have dominated here since their introduction.
