Just about to buy a CTR - best tyres?

hi all just about to do the deal on an '03 CTR. miles are a bit higher than i wanted but it looks like a nice car, with full honda dealer history. it will need 2 new front tyres in the not too distant future, any suggestions on best brand? bridgestone? toyo? what do people think? my main priority is steering/handling over wear rate etc but open to suggestions?
What's currently on the front and rear?
Yoka and Bridgestone seem to get thumbs up, but I'm happy with the Toyo T1-Rs on the rear of my Accord.
Front's will be replaced with Falken FK-452s to try out, soon enough.
Might want head over to civinfo.com and ask the current and previous gen owners what they've used and found with each brand & model.

I thought the Bridgestones were poo, not as much grip as I was expecting and could be terrible in the wet (or maybe that's just my driving!)
I've now got Avon ZZ3s all round and there's a bit more grip in the dry and it seems as though maybe the sidewalls are a little softer because I can feel the car leaning on it's tyres a little more when I get close to the limit. Much better in the wet and loads cheaper too...

When I had mine I tried the pots, the toyo's and the yoko paradas. Its true the potenza's are terrible in the wet but awesome in the dry, I rated the Toyos as better than the paradas because the paradas seemed to spongify the steering feel very slightly.
Never tried the Toyos on track but managed to directly compare the pots to the paradas on the same dry day on track, after three laps the paradas had overheated whereas the Potenzas went on and on and on and on........
