My car has suddenly developed a starting problem. The fuse for the fuel pump keeps blowing each time I turn over the engine. It's been changed for a new pump - same thing. Had the wiring out and there's no sign of a short. Wired up the earth to the battery and now the ignition and injection fuse has started to blow.. 5 years of faultless starting has now come to end...Anyone sparks out there know what else to look for or can suggest a remedy?

Sounds like a relay issue, try posting on the wedge forum, as there is a few peeps on there who are very clued up with regards to electrical gremlins.

My Tuscan did this a while back.

It turned out to be the immobiliser.

This makes 'home diagnosis' a bit of a pain!

Austec sorted mine inside a week. I would suggest a similar course of action.
