New to Buying a Chimaera
Discussion
Besides searching this forum and buying yourself a copy of Steve Heath's Chimaera & Griffith book a.k.a. 'The Bible', there's also a Buyer's Guide here http://www.chimaerapages.com
Best piece of advice I was given when looking for mine,
after selecting the top 10 pertinant areas and features or functions important to you,
if you can tick 7 out of the 10 boxes then buy it.
Never forget with cars that are this age then a lot of things are a compromise.
Good luck and hope you find a brahma

ive already done some homework, did a lot more this weekend off the back of what some of you said, and then went to look at 3.
think ive found the one i want, it is very good condition underneath and generally, which is the thing i am most concerned about!
thanks for your comments and suggestions!
