Hi mate , I have a 2.81 Turbo technics fitted to my MK1 ( see profile )

http://rides.webshots.com/album/547743930VjQMfG
This has the standard turbo technics conversion with manifold( not twin turbo).
I have driven and owned nearly every Capri varient from 1600gt to 3000 gxl 2.81 special
The difference the technics conversion makes over the standard 2.8i is very noticable ,
However the original brakes really are not up to the job and would require modification
Unfortunatly the chap I bought the car from decided to fit a mixture of Peugot /mondeo discs calipers , the result has unbalanced the car
When opertunity dictates I will take the car to Ric Wood
http://www.ricwood.com/
to get the brakes upgraded. ( would be worth asking Ric for advice on your turbo )

If it helps , I have plans to replace the 2.8i set up for the v8 302 Perana route ,
however this may take some time

searching the web I found this other site it may be of some use

good luck

the twin turbo lump had major internal mods, theres a fair bit of info on the ford-power forum under the minker threads. The minker was a very modded twin turbo 4x4 sierra.
