Servicing around Aberdeen

My 911 will be due a service soon, i was just going to take it to Town and County but i will watch this thread and see what comes of it, if people think there are better indi's up here then i may give them a try.. Just to give you an idea of service costs i called T&C yesterday and asked how much for the major service and it was £532, to put that into context my last major service on my E46 M3 was almost £900... In terms of running costs i.e. fuel etc the 911 is the same, if not less than the BMW.
Dave - i think you are the guy i spoke to on RS246.com?? I was looking at buying an RS4 but i changed my mind in the end and opted for a 2004 911. Have you still got your RS4 and weekend car??
cheers

I recently had my 993 serviced at Town and County. Before I booked it in,
I called the service manager to gauge if they get many older 911's in and whether the technicians have experience on the these cars / know the foibles etc, and that if poss I would have liked some 3rd party feedback on how the suspension was lasting out etc.
The response / attitude I recieved from the supposed new 'service manager' was less than courteous, and if my alternative didnt involve a trek down to the central belt I would have put the phone down there and then. They have may be had the same question from other owners of older wagons and feel aggrieved that their expertise is being questioned ?! whatever... not what you expect.
The service seemed fine, although I didnt exactly get any particular feedback.
I dont have any experience of Bavaria-Auto Werke unfortunately
