Drove the Tamora to Swindon this morning and had a number of EFI Fault and 0psi oil pressure warnings. Stopped the car and reconnected the wire that had come loose from the oil pressure sender unit. Back to normal. On the way back from Swindon the oil pressure reading was stuck at 30psi. Got back to my garage and had a look at the oil pressure sender unit again. No wire, connection had completely gone leaving a bare wire. So made up my own wire and connector and it is OK now.
Went around to my mate in Chippenham and parked the car outside his house. We were going up to Castle Coombe, but noticed fluid leeking all over the road
. Up came the bonnet again, checked the coolant. It was OK, then noticed that the screen washer bottle was empty. The hose had come loose under the car somewhere. Panick over. OK need to get this sorted next time I'm down at Dulfords.
Went up to Castle Coombe and it was a Lotus day. I parked the Tamora amongst all the Lotus cars
, and what car got the most attention/pictures, yep my Tamora
Sod all the morning niggles, when I started the Tamora up at Castle Coombe people loved the sound and lots of thumbs up
I guess that is what owning a TVR is all about.
