Guys and Gals if you have a G spyder can you let me know your feelings about the car..

There are a few available at the moment and i am fighting my very weak willpower smile

The only feedback I know of is from one previous owner and also the guys at Lambo Manch. All of which have said its a great car but the body dosen't seem as rigid as the coupe and also it dosent handle as well.

For my two pennith worth I think they are one of the sexiest cars on the road today.

Andy.

Toplesss fun smile

Can't actually imagine going back to any coupe for now, but if there was ever a 599 spyder....

Too soon to give a proper evaluation overall as have had a couple of little niggly problems which has limited my driving time so far.

Saw a silver one y'day with the roof down.

IMO not the best colour for a Gallardo but this one looks fantastic.

cant fault mine personally. i was a multiple ferrari owner in the last few years including 348/355/360 spiders.

was all set for the 430 spider until i saw it. just a stylistic mess for me personally.

then lambo released pics of the gallardo spyder & i moved to the dark side without a second glance.

its the first car i have ever bought without driving it first.

i obviously drove the yellow demonstrator YEV1L when it arrived at lambo london & that just made the wait for delivery even more painful.

there is not one thing i would change on the car.

and the public perception of it seems much better than that of a ferrari (due to rarity i suppose)

best decision i ever made

i doubt i'd ever buy a ferrari again

I borrowed one whilst my coupe was in for some work.

It was baby blue, which was actually quite a colour.

Not as much headroom as the coupe, felt a bit cramped.

How tall are you??? I'm 6'2" and have loads of headroom?

But if you needed more, the button on the left of the centre console gives access to infinite headroom.....

As for colour choice, that was left up to the mrssmile

If you have the electric seats (as I have) the headroom is not great (but it's the same as the 430 spider with electrics)
You can lean the seat back to get more headroom but then you arn't really in an optimal driving position

silver is the new blacksmile

Surprised about the headroom issues, also got leccy seats but not noticed any problem with headroom, then again, haven't been to a trackday yet, so may yet be not enough room for my helmet... ooooer!

TBH I hadn't really noticed the headroom thing until I got my 430 with race seats - now everytime I'm in the GSpyder I feel like I'm tilting my head

With a helmet just take the top off - it hardly makes any difference
At Vmax the car did 184 vs 182 top up/down

Titanium is the best wheel colour with yellow. Although I'm biased of course.smile
