Could someone get me out of my blonde moment?

I'm just about to adjust my tracking prior to the brands hatch trackevening.

I've 1 degree toe in on the front and 15 mins at the rear.

Happy with the back but want to adjust the front.

Loosened the locknut on the track rod end, but want to know what I do next. Surely I don't have to split the ball joint to turn it round.

Neither is there a flat on the track rod itself, and the track rod is not free to turn.

Do I have to remove the rack gaitor and release something?

you should be able to get some good grips on the track rod and the rod going into the rack and turn it you can on all the cars ive worked on in the past unless tvr added some strange quirk never had to adjust a tiv though so may be speaking out of turn

Do you order bits on a weekly basis from Demon Tweeks?

I assume you have some Dunlop tracking 'gear'.

You should open a workshop you've got enough tools biggrin
