This maybe a stupid question but if you get AA or RAC breakdown cover and then you break a drive shaft etc etc on the strip will they come and tow you home.

The reason I ask is the car I will be using this year is road legal and I tend to drive to and from events.

Not unless the breakdown is away from the circuit wink even then you may get a few questions. I'm also wondering if there's specialist cover for this type of break dowm.

AA under General Terms And Conditions: Paragraph O. Vehicles used at "Motor Sport Events" are excluded from cover.

Dunno about the Pod but at Shakey they will come onto site and take it away. Most people take it to the entrance but I never had any trouble inside.

I think someone is saying in a "wink, wink, nod, nod," sort of way that you may want to push it out into the road from the track before you call? LOL. I'm reminded of someone who said they broke a rear in their dually between races. Said they went to a truck rental place, and that they were measuring rear end widths when the people weren't looking. Then, after renting a truck, said they called the rental place to come get their truck, that the rear end was broken in it. rolleyes
