Which Indie, Near Silverstone ?

I have seen all the previous threads and I know this is often asked, but here I go again anyway. I live about 4 miles from Silverstone and have until now been using the V8 Centre for all my work. I see from a previous thread that they have moved and are now probably too far away to make it worthwhile so Im looking for a new one (although I will try calling on tuesday anyway to see whats what). My list so far, any additions ?

TopCats , Aylesbury 27 miles
Silverstone Performance, Silverstone 4 miles
v8 Centre , possibly in Denham 56 Miles
Offords, Huntingon 60 Miles

One of the reasons for using the V8 centre has been price , Perrys skill and the proximity to the train station to get home again. Of all the above probably silverstone is the only easy one as they could pick the car up but they are expensive when compared to the smaller indies like the V8 Centre.

I would recommend Allon White Sports Cars in Cranfield, Bedfordshire. www.allonwhite.co.uk. They don't yet do a large number of TVRs (they do have some on their books) but they are a great bunch, not too pricey and very knowledgeable. They will be looking after my Chimaera 500 from now on.

I took a look at their website - IIRC they are opposite silverstone perfomance I think I've seen them before. What I need is an indie to service and fettle the TVR - I already have one and Broadwater only sell/find cars according to their website.

Looks like its a call to topcats next week to look at prices etc. as they are the nearest.

Edited to add - good news, according to the website they pick up free within 30 miles and I am 27 miles away!

Let me just add I dont have a bad word to say about Silverstone performance. The work I have had done there in the past was first class. But Im always looking to get the best price along with the quality, hence this post.
