Monaco Race comments

Righto, the ITV Lewis love-in has just started, so thought I'd start a new thread for race comments.

Predictions please?

I hope Lewis does it and I think he's capable but I have a nagging feeling that something will go wrong somewhere along the line to just deny him with Alonso winning, whether it be an ill timed safety car period or traffic holding him up when he needs quick lap times.

To me, Our Lewis (tm) looks on the verge of a major accident. Don't want to be on a downer but that first lap yesterday was just not neccesary. Hope I'm proved wrong (and probably will be after putting down in writing.) but I don't think he'll last the race.

Alonso to win, Caveman Kimi to crash as well, Massa and someone different on the other step of the podium (Red Bull, BMW, Rosberg, Fishfinger?)

Im sure if the team thought the same they'd have had a word in his ear last night, so I think (hope) he'll tone it down a smidge in the race.

That last interview was cringeworthy. Lewis, you're cleary very good but cut the bull about Senna and God guiding you round the streets of Monte Carlo!

Also, is it just me or does James Allens voice sound different and less irritating in the pre show???

lewis isnt on the pace right now. reasons? fuel load maybe?

Hamilton seems to have woekn up, will be interesting if he's on a longer fuel strategy

Live Timing is showing 19.7 seconds behind Hamilton now???

Yep, I think Massa must have been held up more through th traffic or something, big chunk of time lost. Gone onto the softer tyre as well now.

Lewis closing in a bit now, the only thing is it seems that low fuel / old tyres doesnt seem to be any quicker than high fuel / new tyres, so I dont know if there's going to be the usual benefit in staying out longer and leapfrogging the other driver
