What do you expect from an indie?

What scope of service do you expect from an indie?....Are you looking for quality or cheap,the full dealer experience or Jeff in a barn?...
Im writing a business plan so I'd like as many views as possible..

From an indie i'd look for the same as from anyone else that i take my pride and joy to.I want it to have the best care it can get,and although i expect to have to pay for it,i don't want to be paying for some 'bullshit gin palace' type place either.My Philosophy has always been that i'm happy to pay for the best my car can get,but i want honesty and fair value wherever i go.

A thorough knowledge of TVRs, competent mechanics who take the time to do a job properly, good pricing, helpfulness. In exchange I can accept lack of girlies to answer the phone on the first ring, valeting and salesmen who tell me that everything is fixed when it isn't.
