intermitant horn
Discussion
Now I don't tend to use my horn much, but the other day some Dodo pulled out on me on a roundabout leaving me option but to brake very hard to avoid hitting him. To me this was enough to warant a blast of the horn so I pressed the button and held it there - but nothing. So the dodo got away scott free !
Later on my journey having periodically tested the horn to no avail, it started working fine again.
Any body got any ideas !

If its intermittant then its probably a contact problem in the horn boss/button. WD-40 is the short-term fix there.
FYI on my '98 Chimaera, the horn and the fans shared the same fuse - I was travelling back to London from Cambridge and noticed the horn wasn't working. I was doing fine until I hit traffic on the Old Kent Road and the radiator went pop. Might be worth checking - 'cos a faulty contact in the button could cause the fuse to blow...
That said of course it wouldn't surprise me if you car has entirely different fuse & relay configuration.
