I imagine Siw Nystad and Janne Ahonen are kicking themselves for not getting runs in yesterday. Leif Andreasson missing the second session by five minutes could have a pivotal effect on the TM/FC championship as well. Leif will perhaps be praying for rain tomorrow as a damage limitation thing.

Lets hope the weather improves tomorrow.

Jahne (sp?) hasn't even recorded a time, so he's out not matter what (unless greater forces come to bear).....

I am sure that Leif will have everything crossed tonight in the hope that one of the 8, that got a time yesterday, have a problem in R1 tomorrow.

It was really wet there today. Hopefully better tomorrow

I saw Leif's crew start the car then something happened and the engine popped then died and they couldn't get it started straight away. They managed to source the fault within minutes but they were refused permission to run and from Leif's body language I don't think he was a happy camper. I saw Leif discussing the issue with several officials before storming back to the pits.

Did anyone notice the black thing sticking on the front of Gordon Appleton's car & what it is for ?

That will be to break the beams except at the startline where you stage with the front wheel(s).

taking advantage of the maximum overhang rules in pro mod, Fast Freddy sported one last year at Mantorp

Pro Mods are allowed a 45" overhang from the centre of the front spindle, so more and more cars are sprouting these to make up the difference.
