And what a thouroughly enjoyable journey! OK, so both doors leaking a bit and there's the rebuild hanging over my head. But the car performed faultlessly.

Doesn't matter what the weather, what a joy to drive these cars are.

Penury's worth it!

PS Anyone else having trouble finding the button which says to send emails for replies?

mine's actually rather civilized in the rain. No leaks, no steamed up windows, only gripe is the awful wipers

Well someone should put it back!

No steamed up windows, speed through standing water with gay abandon (I live near the New Forest so fords are a common occurance), wipers work fine. Excellent handling in the wet.

Shame about the leaks, but I'll get to the bottom of them eventually.

Great 270 miles and 4 hours today!

It's a worry - until you find that there are several holes in the back of the intake pipe, that would let air in bypassing the main intake hole if it was blocked, and avoids sucking up the water. wink

After the wipers packed up on mine, I actually drove through a prolonged drenching with nothing but RaineX to do the job for me and I have to say I was amazed at how good the stuff is! Id recommend we all use it as standard on our screens.

I did the Paris tunnel run on Sat/Sun and most of it was in rain, the car performed really well (as usual) with no steaming up and no leaksclap

Travelled back from Derbyshire to Lancashire yesterday in the most appalling weather conditions for some time - torrential rain, hailstones, standing water on the motorway - absolutely no problems with the Tamora, completely watertight and performing like a dream.

If you want to see this miracle, she'll be at Tatton Park next Sunday 3 June! biggrin

touches the nearest piece of wood just to be sure.......wink

Watertight, eh? So now I have the joy of knowing they CAN be watertight, but the aggro of getting it sorted! Happy days... :-)
