OK so I didn't absolutely cane it due to the amount of rain but I was comfortably doing the speed limit(;-) and not in danger of a ban if you see what I mean) and I just returned 30.75 mpg on a 270 motorway run.

That's not bloody bad, is it?

thats about my experience as well! I get around 21 when I am driving around london and high 20's when i am cruising.

This is all music to my ears. I'm off around europe on friday and was buggetting £1000 for fuel. More money for beer and wine then!

Ah. European roads, few cameras, little rain and standing water...... Not quite the same I feel. £1000 and counting I'd say. But enjoy!
