Hi !
My 1st post in this P&V forum...
I have a Canon A75 (3.2M - compact , 3x zoom etc) and have been using it for car shows and holidays for the lasdt 2 years, produces reasonable stills to remember the day, eBay pictures etc, but doesn't exactly cope with distance or fast moving objects (sports/motorsport). What would be a good step up to get something more 'photography driven' than just auto point and click.
Don't really want a SLR as think it would be too bulky and I wouldn't take it out with me wnough to use.... budget about £300, just need some pointers in the right direction ? Sony H9 (15x zoom) ?

What about a Nikon D40 - pick one up for around £350...just an idea. Not very big or heavy and is perfect for people who want alittle more then a point and shoot but not as techy as a fully kitted out dslr.
