what about Doohan sliding it on opposite lock while the front wheel is a foot off the ground.

I think it was one of the first GPs at Sepang, Malaysia.

Tried to find links but failed miserably...however...

Wayne Gardners 500cc victory at philip Island in the early 90`s fighting Doohan with his fairing hanging off....so many near highsides....and a gutsy ,gutsy win..

Norick Abe`s first win at Suzuka in the early 90`s on his 500cc debut....

Doohan & Criville Jerez last lap in 96 ...the crowd were standing on the edge of the track costing Alex the win after he highsided out the last corner...

Hislops victory at the TT on the norton...It was fast but a bag a shite

David jeffries & Joey Dunlop at the Ulster in 97/98/99(?)...V&M R1 vs RC45...stunning...

One recent one is of Melandri coming out of last bend on to the finish straight sideways, back wheel smokin' one handed, phuckin'awesome! Wish I could put it up here but it's beyond me I'm afraid.
PS. Bet Biaggi's shpinkter was working overtime on the wheelie.

Getting your legs sewn together so the good one can `feed` the buggered dying one ....I don`t think there was a harder man in bike racing...although frankly..at that level..their all just as tough..


Not so much a great moment ,more of a great race meeting,particuarly the camera shot as they fly through the last corner onto the start finish straight...
