last year my daughter, now my suspension?

Hi guys,
All exited for my first visit to Zolder. Wanted to come last year, but then my daughter was born a few days before.
This year,however I am going to participate!!!
However: Since a week or so, there is a sharp ticking/snapping noise coming from my front suspension (I think it is the drivers side. It happens when I steer more sharp or when riding over a bumpy road. Hope this is not going to prevent my initiation into Zolder from happening...
Does anybody know what it could be?
