Took my 10 year old son out for a play in the car today. At first he was a bit scared of the sideways action, but after afew minutes he had this
on his face. Now he carn't stop talking about the car,he loves it.
On the way home he said to me.. dad will you leave the car to me when you die, i know it will be in along time but i would love to have the car.
I thought that was rather nice

SteveIf we were going out somewhere, my daughter used to say, "can we go in your noisy car". Bless her little heart !!!! How can daddy say no !!!!
She came with me to the dealers when I put the deposit on the car. I had to have another look at the 450 which was in the servicing area. She sat on my lap in the drivers seat and I showed her all the dials etc. She then got off my lap and went to my parents who had come along as they were visiting that day. I started the 450 up just as she was walking round the back of the car, poor little love jumped out of her skin.

My daughter likes to wind up the lads at Uni who are always wittering about cars. She just drops my 390 into the conversation....
I used to drop her off at school in it sometimes - once I was waved down by a female teacher who seemed to be keen to get into rather more than my car...

That's exactly what my daughter says about mine. If she knows I'm about to start it, she'll stand there with her hands clasped against her ears.
Every time she sees another convertible on the road, she shouts "That's like Daddys car". Unfortunately, she said it when she saw a Renault Megane convertible. Bless, she's only three, so there's plenty of time to teach her well.
My Local Land Lord asked me to take his 12 year old TVR fanatical daughter for a spin in my 400, last year. She was quiet and didn't say much other than thanks and ran off to her friends. I then got a bo**ocking of the Land Lord a week later as she hadn't stopped talking about it. I did have to assure him that she was embelishing the stories about how sideways it went
