After 1 July, they will be prosecuting people in company vehicles if they are spotted smoking - Streaky
Is that just an off the cuff remark Streaky, or is it a declared policy and genuine intent? How will they know? How will they prove it.
The RK will most likely show as a leasing company. Could be a private lease.
The cigarette could be one of these
Or the pipe could be empty and not charged with tobacco etc, just used as a dummy. I do believe that there are dummy cigarettes again to quell the pangs.
I'm intrigued how this will be enforceable. What a way to run a country. The answer is "a fixed penalty" now what's the question?
How exactly has this camera cut crime?
Did it prevent one single wrong doing?
NO
It may have provided some evidence to assist the police in finding the ofenders but it has not cut crime.
Sadly when/if caught their legal defence will get them off with a slapped wrist and a lesser fine that the one for speeding.

yep, strange how that most basic of human rights seems to have been steamrollered in the name of revenue collection, and for what? how exactly have we benefited?

No crime has been cut, just a picture taken!
And has it harmed the investigation into the series of burglaries or has it helped it ?You will obviously disagree with me so maybe you could explain what this has done so far to help the victims of the crime?
How much closer the BiB are to an arrest?
