I'm going, but too late for the race. What is there to do?

I'm thinking of going on the 19th to the 22nd of June and wondered, what apart from the musium is there to do in the 2 days i'm there?
Obviously its a motor themed trip and I'm going with my dad who is also into cars.

Any sugestions please,Cheers
School Boy.

As most of the circuit is public road, you can still have a nice drive round, park up and see some famous corners.

They'll probably be a lot of gypsies loitering in and around campsites though!

go to the race dude!! do you know what you're missing!!

It's still a great place when the race isn't on, however it will be gypo central so don't leave anything laying around

agree, if you can make the race, even if you turn up for sunday, it's so worth it.

Usually 24th weekend of the year, so prob 14th 15th June 2008, but not normally confirmed until early that year.

If you've got a white van you could join the pikies scavenging everything and anything left behind by the departing Le Man-ers

I reckon the campsites will be clean and pikey-free by the time you get there... At the rate they go there was very little left by monday morning last year!
