hi everyone!

just seen some camping tickets on ebay saying that they are up to sunday 17th june. does anyone know whether this is typically inclusive of the sunday or whether we would need to pay extra to stay sunday night.

You won't be charged for Sunday night, you may be charged extra for turning up before Wednesday, but last time we arrived late Tuesday afternoon and didn't pay a supplement.

Depending on the campsite and size of your group, staying on Sunday night might well be a real downer on
what should otherwise be an excellent trip.. We stayed on Sunday night once and vowed never to do it
again.. The place was empty and lifeless!! Although saying that whilst we leave on Sunday, we do it a
little later than the crowd and stop off on the way home - warm hotel, shower and everything!! smile

As for turning up early, they used to indicate that you had to pay a supplement if you arrived early, but
on the whole didn't charge it.. Recently they've started to enforce the rules a little more, so definitely
expect to pay if you turn up on Mon or Tues.

S1mon.

We stay in Houx Annexe, and Sunday night is a great night, well worth staying on for, keep a look out for the french pikies though

Sunday night has been pretty good the last 3 years in Karting Nord. Lots of bonfires and using up fireworks!

Always nice to sit, have a beer, and reflect on the race before heading home Monday morning.

I've always enjoyed Sunday night, it does quieten down a lot but if you've been there all week it's nice to have a chance to chill out, pack up everything but the tents for a quick getaway on Monday morning, and see off the last of the beers and the BBQ. There's still plenty of people left on Tertre Rouge and on the roads back to the ports the next morning.

If your camping on one of the busier campsites, Sunday night is great fun! done Houx for several years on a Sunday now, drink up your beer, eat the rest of your food and have a laugh! The 'village', however, packs up within 2 hours of the race finish so don't expect to walk up there Sunday night to busy anything..... it's just tumbleweed! Much more leisurly drive out Monday morning, plenty of decent cars on the road too

Yes, Monday drive back is the biz. Leisurely, plenty of interesting motors etc, time to reminisce and think about 2008: Le Mans as usual and Le Classic too. R.
