Hey chaps

Im looking for somewhere to take the girlfriend for a nice meal out, not too expensive and quite flexible on type of food. Anyone got any recommendations? We are in the Coventry /Warwick area so somewhere in the area would be good

Thanks

Yes, to the Saxon Mill
White Horse at Balsall common (been recently refurbished)
The Beeches, Hampton in Arden (bit pricey)
Quicken Tree, Fillongley nothing from the outside but great views and food.

Go to Momenti in Leamington Spa, fantastic Italian food. Eleven next door isn't bad either.

I had good meals at the Boot in Lapworth and The Orange Tree in Chadwick End when I lived in Solihull. Both are in the general area you're after - and, by happy coincidence, have some rather good roads in close proximity wink

well... last night we decided on the Saxon Mill

We were very much impressed. The food was good, fantastic setting and good service. Given that we live in Coventry city centre The Saxon Mill could have been 1 million miles away.

Thanks for the info guys
